Orchestra mailing list
A mailing list has been set up for each of the three orchestras. This will be used
occasionally to let everyone know of special events, changes in rehearsals,
reminders of various things, and so on. Those who supplied
an email address on the registration form will be automatically members of this list.
If you didn't supply an email address, or if the information is incorrect or needs
updating, you can change the email address used for the list as follows.
- To subscribe to the list, send an email to one of
- strings-request@winnipegyouthorchestras.ca
- concert-request@winnipegyouthorchestras.ca
- symphony-request@winnipegyouthorchestras.ca
for, respectively,
the Youth Strings, Youth Concert, or Youth Symphony mailing list. Specify the
subject of your email as "subscribe" (without the quotes).
This will subscribe you to the
appropriate mailing list using the email address you sent the message from.
- To unsubscribe from the list, send a message to the appropriate email address
mentioned in the previous point, but specify the
subject of your email as "unsubscribe" (again, without the quotes).
This will unsubscribe the email address you used to send the email from this list.
The mailing list has been set up so that only your conductor, and a couple
of people on the Winnipeg Youth Orchestra board, can post messages
to it; this is done so that spammers cannot use the list.
